Last night the Walking Dead premiered on AMC... apparently its a new series based off of a graphic novel and is directed by the same guy who did Shawshank. Let me just say that I was hooked after about 45 seconds when a little zombie chick got JFK'd by some sheriff with a revolver.
Now I've seen a lot of zombie movies in my day, so i was a bit skeptical coming in because it was on a cable network. But trust me it had all of the suspense, gore and fuckedupdedness that a zombie apocalypse show needs and then some. We had horses getting eaten, some dude confused n walking around after being in a coma for months and realizing the world has gone to shit, half eaten grandma zombies dragging themselves through the park and a badass 12 year old kid who destroys fools with a shovel. Oh and the hot chick from Prison Break to boot.
PS I give it 3 episodes until the black guy dies... scary movie 101
